My name is Manuela Sierra and I am the founder and designer of Manu Studio.
Manu Studio originally started as One by Manu in 2020 at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. One day out of pure boredom, I grabbed my mothers sewing machine from the 1990's and decided to up-cycle thrifted items I previously purchased. Immediately, something I had started for fun became into a passion and I began to sell the up-cycled pieces online.
Fashion is a way of expression for me, I love to be able to decide what goes on my body. To choose how I dress depending on my mood of the day, without any restrictions or worries of what others may think.
I want people who buy my products to feel the same. I want the pieces that they wear to inspire their true expression, to wear my pieces in their style; not to let my pieces define their style. Personal style is everything to me, especially in a world where trend cycles barely last 3 months.
My goal is to create pieces that will last a lifetime. Pieces that can stay in your closet as you personal style evolves.

Our skort size chart works like this-
Mid rise shows waist measurements because the skirt lies on your waist.
Low rise shows hip measurements because skirt lies right on top of your hip bones.
For a looser and longer fit, size up. Skorts are stretchy and have an elastic waist band.
